[click here to learn more] Our alliance with Cardiobeat allows a physician with a common laptop computer to enter the home or workplace, place four strip electrodes on the patient’s chest, and measure their cardiac output and other key variables so important in the treatment of congestive heart failure. Medicare payment rules allow automatic payment for the test as often as monthly when medically reasonable and necessary. Using the QualDoc system, a physician can perform the test and send it through a wireless VPN to a cardiologist for stat reading or consultation. We hope to be supporting a national Call Doctor network of mobile doctors when the 3G modem communications mature in the next year.

Call Doctor is currently proud to be working with a major home health agency testing its patented wireless communications platform and jointly developed protocols for paperless signing of CMN forms, 485 forms, SCIC and other orders, as well as sharing the OASIS database in a mobile, paperless office.
