Gresham Bayne, MD

Founder, Call Doctor Medical Group
San Diego, CA Dr. Bayne has been Chief of the Department
of Emergency Medicine at the Naval Regional Medical Center in
San Diego, Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of
California, San Diego Medical School, and Associate Director of
Life Flight at UCSD Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the American
Academy of Emergency Physicians and is a Director and Treasurer
for the American Academy of Home Care Physicians.
Although Dr. Bayne was honored as "Housecall Dr. of the Year"
by the American Academy of Home Care Physicians (AAHCP), he considers
his highest honor as being voted "The doctor who cares the most
about his patients" during his internship in 1973. Most recently
he was pleased to find out that Dr. Tom Cornwell, one of the first
housecall physicians he trained, had been selected in 2002 for
the Pride in the Profession national honors granted by the American
Medical Association to the physician most exemplifying the ideals
of medicine. |
